PA CASA & Dauphin County CASA on iHeart Radio

In the world of advocacy, every opportunity to raise awareness and engage with the public is invaluable. That’s why we’re thrilled to share some exciting news – Dauphin County CASA invited Pennsylvania Court Appointed Special Advocates (PA CASA) to join them on a special segment of iHeartRadio’s Harrisburg-Lancaster station’s “Insight with Sylvia Maus” in September. This unique platform gave our organizations an opportunity to shine a light on the important work and the positive impact CASA volunteers make in the lives of children in the child welfare system.

During the interview, listeners had the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts of the impact these organizations and CASA volunteers have on the lives of children and families in our community. PA CASA President and CEO Jennifer DeBalko and Dauphin County CASA Executive Director Will Foster shared stories of resilience, determination, and hope. They discussed the challenges that children in the child welfare system face and the critical role that CASA volunteers play in advocating for their needs. It was a heartwarming and eye-opening conversation that left a lasting impression on all who tuned in.

DeBalko shared about the experience by saying “It’s an honor to collaborate with local programs to spread awareness for the court-appointed special advocate program. We appreciate the invitation from Dauphin County CASA to join them in this media opportunity.”

By supporting these organizations and becoming advocates for children’s voices, we can help ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving environment.
