Volunteering with PA CASA
PA CASA is Pennsylvania's CASA state organization focusing on growing, strengthening, and uniting local CASA programs so they can ensure the safety, well-being, and forever home for every abused and/or neglected child in Pennsylvania. Volunteering at the state-level helps children around the state of Pennsylvania with little to no direct service to children.
Local Program Volunteers
Local Program volunteers provide direct service to children within their geographical area. Volunteers get to know the child by talking with everyone in that child's life: parents and relatives, foster parents, teachers, medical professionals, attorneys, social workers and others. They use the information they gather to help inform judges and others of what the child needs and what will be the best permanent home for them.
If you are interested in receiving general information about PA CASA, starting a new CASA local program, becoming a sponsor, or coordinating an event for our organization-- we look forward to hearing from you!
