As the statewide stay-at-home order moved into its fifth week, photojournalists from PennLive and the Patriot-News, Harrisburg, PA’s online and print newspaper, set out to document how people across the Capital region were coping while waiting for the state to reopen. The series, called “Window of Hope” documents how central Pennsylvanians are holding up. They have been traveling the Capital Region, taking portraits of friends and neighbors as they do their part in battling the coronavirus pandemic by staying home.

PA CASA Board of Directors member, Ross Kanenson, along with his wife Marion, daughter Riley and dog Lanie, were photographed in their Susquehanna Township home.  Ross joined the PA CASA Board in 2019 after working for the Commonwealth of PA’s Department. of Human Services as a business analyst for the past 27 years.  We hope this photo inspires everyone to share their “Window of Hope” with all of us at PA CASA!
