Announcing Pennsylvania CASA’s Newly Appointed Local Program Representative

PA CASA is pleased to welcome Jessica Laspino to the Board of Directors. Laspino, Executive Director of CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties, has been with CASA since August 2009. During her tenure with CASA, Laspino has served in almost every role in the Organization.  

Jessica shared that she is looking forward to “the opportunity to lend a local program perspective to larger statewide discussions and learn from the shared expertise of the group.” Laspino was elected to the Board of Directors on October 19, 2023, to fill the position of Joan Peterson, Executive Director of Lackawanna County CASA, as her term came to an end. Jessica serves beside Happi Grillon, Executive Director of CASA Philadelphia.

Local CASA program Executive Directors are elected to represent their program and other local programs in the Pennsylvania CASA Network. Local program representatives have the same roles and responsibilities as any other members of the Board of Directors.

We are excited to embark on this journey with her as a valued addition to our Board of Directors. We extend a thank you to Joan Peterson for her dedication and service to the Board. Peterson’s contributions have made a lasting impact. Thank you, Joan.
