Mercedes Baumgardner Recognized for Strengthening York County CASA

On June 20, Mercedes Baumgardner, Program Director of York County CASA, was recognized with the Hero for Children Award at the York County Children’s Advocacy Center’s 7th Annual Charity Wine Dinner.

Through her leadership, Mercedes has helped York County CASA grow its reach and build trusted relationships throughout the child welfare system. She works every day to ensure children who have experienced abuse or neglect have consistent, caring support as they move through the court process. Mercedes is also dedicated to empowering volunteer advocates and fostering strong connections with community partners who share CASA’s mission.
