Exciting Expansion for CASA of Luzerne County: Now Serving Wyoming County

CASA of Luzerne County is thrilled to announce its expansion into Wyoming County, with the program now officially known as CASA of Wyoming Valley to reflect this broader service area.

On Thursday, August 8, they celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new Wyoming County office in Tunkhannock, PA. The event was filled with enthusiasm as attendees toured the new space, connected with one another, and then gathered at the courthouse for a significant moment— the swearing-in of Wyoming County’s first volunteer advocate, Ann Way, by President Judge Russel Shurtleff.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a luncheon hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. It was a memorable day marking the beginning of their extended reach and continued commitment to advocating for children throughout Luzerne and Wyoming Counties.
